Predictive Maintenance: Zero Downtime
VISIONprint® telemetry lets us know when your equipment needs attention before you notice it.
Guides from JurZen Technology
Continuity depends on how equipment is prepared, how incidents are handled and how service responsibilities are agreed. Use this guide to order those decisions before contracting support or renewing your print fleet.

Document the model, serial number, location, owner and counter of each device. Note the functions each area depends on and the compatible consumables. This information makes it possible to identify an incident without depending on the memory of a single person.
Review the intervention history and the manufacturer's notices. Maintenance frequency should be adjusted to the model, the use and the installation conditions; an identical calendar for all devices can overlook different needs.
Preventive maintenance schedules checks; monitoring provides information about the status that the device and the solution allow you to query. The ability to anticipate a breakdown depends on the data available and how it is interpreted. Ask for a demonstration of the scope for your specific models.
Define in writing how an incident is reported, what information must accompany it and who confirms the response. Differentiate response time from resolution time. Review hours, coverage, spare parts, consumables and possible exclusions before comparing contracts.
Identify the documents that cannot wait and agree on an alternative procedure: another authorized device, a different print queue or a digital workflow approved by your company. Verify the permissions and confidentiality of that alternative.
After each incident, record the confirmed cause, the intervention performed and the recovery time. Review repeated cases with your provider. These records help decide whether to adjust usage, replace a part or evaluate renewing the device.
